Set near the Guatemalan border, Copan Ruinas is a major destination in Honduras because of the excavated Mayan acropolis here. Luckily, the town has a lot of nice offerings too — including great, friendly hostels and some cheap eats. Not a place you’ll likely stay much longer than a couple nights, but comfortable and clean enough to enjoy your time there.
