You may not be a SCUBA diver, and that’s OK, but after a couple days on this island (click here for photos) I’d be impressed if you weren’t at least considering the appeal of throwing the rest of your travel budget into a dive master course and spending the next 5 years working on this island. Hey, it seems to be what everyone else does anyway.
This island has a thriving party scene with drink specials changing each night. So if you’re into sunshine, coral reefs, breathing underwater, drinking on docks and partying until sunrise — Utila is a good fit. Bacchanalia at its best.
