Cassidi is a newer member of the Border Tramp brigade, but she’s no stranger to Latin America. She has traveled the Yucatan extensively with family and fellow trampers, her sister Emily and their dad Xavi.
In the summer of 2010 she completed a 4-week study abroad program in Ecuador in pursuit of her now completed degrees in Spanish and Linguistics. In the program she helped out with several community service projects involving health and education with impoverished populations there. She loved exploring the country so much she stayed on 2 weeks by herself to check out the coast.
She has also traveled to Belize in Central America and to Europe in 2010 to the Catalonia region of Spain and Paris.
Cassidi is taking a break from her life in Louisville, Kentucky to explore wild and incredible Central America. She’s been brushing up on her cartography and photography skills — so keep your eyes peeled for her talents shining through on our site!
