You might feel like you’re getting the run around in San Ignacio as all the local kids insist on escorting you from hotel to hostel, restaurant to cafe, but there are certainly some good and cheap eats in this town. Located near the bus depot there are some food stalls where you can get a full stomach at a fair price

The words diner, all day breakfast and bottomless coffee are more than enough to entice me into a restaurant. And Pop’s Diner did not disappoint. Whether you go for a classic breakfast, a burrito or tacos — everything here is delicious, including the coffee.

Definitely a place to hit up if you’re looking for breakfast in San Ignacio.

Chinese RestaurantCentral_America_Cheap_Travel_Viajes_Baratos_Belize_San_Ignacio_Comida_Food_Chinese_1

Delicious Seafood and Chinese Restaurant is a good option if you want to go somewhere to sit down, drink a beer and grab a bite. The fried chicken is the cheapest and the safest for a sensitive stomach. Just remember, they cut up and serve the whole chicken. So yes, that is a chicken neck on your plate of fried rice.
