Pupuseria El Pijazo

Pupusas: The staple street food in Honduras. Made fresh and to order, the pupusas here come with homemade pickled beets, cauliflower and peppers and the requisite cabbage salad. Delicious and at under $.50/7-10 lemps it’s hard to beat the deal.

Tacos Mexicanos

As soon as we saw the overflowing tacos being served up here, we were sold. This food cart opens each evening and serves up three fresh pork or beef tacos, cooked to order for $1.50usd/30 lemps. They are delicious and a wonderful detour from the ever-available fried chicken and tajadas.
