Mamallena Hostel
Not far from the Albrook bus terminal, Mamallena is a welcoming hostel offering dorm beds with firm mattresses and breezy windows for $13usd a night and private double for $33usd all with air conditioning and pancake breakfast included. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and the location is central — walking distance to lots of sights. With a great common room for chilling, a large kitchen for cooking, a tv room for zoning out and a great patio complete with hammocks, there’s not much more you could want in a hostel. They will also be happy to book trips to San Blas islands, Isla Taboga and a variety of other destinations (Columbia, anyone?).
