D & D Brewery

D&D Brewery and Lodge is a little oasis of relaxation, micro-brews, delicious food and captivating jungle flora and fauna — and most all of it should fit your budget.

The beer and food isn’t exactly cheap, but the size of the dishes here makes them worth the price. It would be a shame to miss out on the breakfasts here (fresh blueberry pancakes!). And if you split the meals, they certainly fit budget and appetite needs.

Nuevo Paraiso

There aren’t a lot of options here in Lago de Yojoa, but if D&D Brewery‘s menu is a bit over budget for you and/or you don’t have a buddy to split the large portions with, it is definitely worth the short walk to Nuevo Paraiso.

Located about 1km. from D&D in the Los Naranjos center, this little comedor offers enormous plates of fried chicken, steak, pork chops or fish with either french fries or tajadas (fried plantains) all for just around $5usd/ 80-95 lemps. And these meals are more than enough suffice as a late lunch and keep you sated until morning. And they are delicious. AND you can bring in your own beer. Enough said.
