Travel Hopkins
Hopkins is a small, primarily Garifuna fishing town on the southern coast of Belize. It’s a quiet town — the Caribbean dawn to dusk rule is pretty much the standard. That said, Hopkins is a great place to chill out after the party ’til dawn vibe of the northern cayes. Though it’s a little hard to get to, it’s definitely worth the walk (or hitch) into town. However, be forewarned, the town pretty much shuts down after 9pm so make sure you’ve got enough food and drink to get you through to the next morning.
