Getting from Leon to Las Penitas will cost you 100 cords per person by taxi, and only take about 20 minutes. Or, you can wait for the chicken bus that leaves from the bus terminal whenever it is full. The chicken bus is significantly cheaper–about a dollar

When coming back, you can hop on the chicken bus that comes through once in the morning and once in the afternoon, or catch a taxi on its way back to Leon and they will offer you a much cheaper fair than what they charge to take you there from Leon (20 cords). The taxi took the three of us back to Leon for what it would of cost us for the bus collectively.
